Worth remembering that Trump tried to overturn the ACA without a replacement, which could have brought back lifetime caps and revoked coverage for pre-existing conditions. In other words, if he'd had his way, many more Americans could have gone bankrupt and died.

The 3rd meal from one 2-piece package of organic chicken thighs and there's leftovers so that will be 4. First was oven roasted, second tacos and then this stir fry of veggies and a wild rice blend. It included jalapeno, radish, peas, peapods and arugula from my garden 🌱 plus other veggies 🍽🍜

Homemade taco seasoning made these leftover chicken tacos for me. I also used some brocolette, green onion, lime zest, cilantro and lime juice in the sauteed portion and topped with cilantro, tomato, lime zest, a dab of sour cream mixed with lime juice. Satisfying! 🍽🍜

Trump’s tax law cut the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. What did corporations do with the money saved? They didn’t invest it or raise wages. They spent a record $1 trillion on stock buybacks the year after the law went into effect. Nothing trickled down to workers.

They suggested a boot for the sprained anterior talofibular ligament but I demurred and it resolved with time, ice and rest. Still get a bit of the tenosynovitis in the tibialis. The knee required an injection and aspiration 😒 hope you heal soon!

Oh, ouch! I've just recovered from a hyper-flexed knee and ankle.... those tendons are slow healers. I can't say enough about how helpful pool therapy was in the recovery process.

It hasn't rained in like 36 hours (finally!) so enjoyed some sunshine and a 3 mile walk in a prairie. I should have been weeding my garden but after a month of rain and heat it looks more like a jungle than a vegetable garden.

You could find a market? Seriously, I had a restaurant PAY ME to to weed lamb's quarters. Literally two leaf and lawn bags' worth. Good money ;-) I got rid of the weeds. He apparently wrapped a barbecued pig in them? (I have used lamb's quarters as greens; they're just okay.)
