your effective choices in the 2024 election are biden, who is (so far) ineptly failing to prevent an ethnic cleansing of gaza, and trump, who is enthusiastically supporting an ethnic cleansing of gaza
tbh, I'm much more concerned about Biden understanding that the Gaza War imperils his reelection (because he doesn't seem to) than I am with voters understanding the choice between Biden and Trump (every voter I speak to seems to) bsky.app/profile/spec...
He (and the bulk of congress) is skating past a law that should have halted aid to Israel, right? That seems less "ineptly failing" and more "well the political optics of being principled here are bad and its an election year so..."
The undecided campaign is well intended but i hope they understand what the choice really is in the general. Trump will mean the complete destruction of gaza.
How are the internet leftists gonna spin that "Trumps' son in law and White House consigliere literally wants to turn Gaza into a beach resort over the pile of Gazan corpses" means that actually Biden is the bad one we shouldn't vote for.
Biden at least seems to hear his voters (despite his failures and disagreements) and we're shifting on Israel in a way that wouldn't even be in the realm of possibility in 2016.
It’s way too generous to characterize Biden as “ineptly failing to prevent an ethnic cleansing.” All signs point to “ineptly failing to distract voters from his strategic indifference to an ethnic cleansing.”
"Neville Chamberlain sucks man, let's replace him!"
"Okay, but Churchill's not available."
"Well, who is available?"
"Ribbentrop."
"Alright then. Anybody by Chamberlain!"
