Wow, real banana republic stuff. I'm glad our presidents can launder money and associate criminally without worrying about this kind of thing.

On this July 4, please pause to remember that one of the colonists’ complaints in the Declaration was that the Crown was paying its judges.

It’s something that does and has happened, in 2016 that very thing happened. 2016 should have been the year that made it clear that the dem strategy of “never lose an election to make sure things aren’t on fire” was a bad one. There needs to be a plan to stop this NOW

The argument of “vote harder” is a bad one. Any dem that doesn’t make taking on the court a priority shouldn’t be elected

On the one hand him making it clear that he refuses to abuse his power is good. On the other, his and the dem establishment’s refusal to offer any solution to the court beyond “vote for good people FOREVER” is not a good sign

In normal times, the Supreme Court would've smacked down claims of presidential immunity almost immediately, but we're not in normal times, and there's a reason why the conservative majority of Federalist Society bagmen waited until the last possible moment to provide this insane ruling.

I've seen enough -- this is the most radical, dangerous, arrogant, out-of-control Supreme Court in American history, and it needs to be treated as such.

There is no argument against court expansion and major reforms to the court at this point if you’re a dem running for office

“The Court’s conservative majority has revealed itself to be the most direct threat to American democracy, and any Democrat who is not ready to shelve old fears about ‘court packing’ and get serious about expanding and reforming the Court isn’t made for this moment.”
Correct.
