I'm loving this new Star Wars adventure. Not only is there kick ass fight sequences but there is a deep mystery of what happened in the past driving Mae with extreme revenge. Why does Osha feels negative about her sister. I'm looking forward to what will be revealed.

While bingeing on the TV show, The Guardian, I came across a very young Chris Pine. I almost didn't recognize him but it were the eyes that did it. He was kinda annoying guest char. 😀

Locus Magazine is a critical part of the SFF publishing industry. Unfortunately in recent years they've had to cut back on their coverage of the short story market. This fundraiser will help them restaff and return to more robust reporting.

Rep. Jeremy Faison (R) blocked a resolution honoring Grammy winner Allison Russell while a nearly identical one for the band Paramore passed. Paramore rejected “any acknowledgment or honor” from the Tennessee House until Russell is given the same honor.

Nuts, but I seem to reread old romance novels at the beginning of the new year. This January it was 9 romance books. I did sneak in 2 Science Fiction books. My TBR collection of Science Fiction books keeps getting bigger.

Although he was born in China, #HuaSanchuan (1930-2004) wrote and illustrated comic strips and children's books with many Asian themes. He was considered a child prodigy at age 6 and published in his early 20s.
