Honestly, probably not, but equally there is zero, and I mean zero, chance of the Tories winning in my constituency, so I had the luxury of choosing based on ethics rather than needing to vote tactically.

Whether she’d vote SNP, or Green, or Lib Dem today, I’ll never know, but in voting #ScottishGreens I tried to vote for the things she valued and cared about. For human rights, for the environment, for the future.

On a more thoughtful note, when I vote, I often think about how my mum would have voted. She was a staunch Labour voter, pro-trade union, and cared about vulnerable people. There is no way on Earth she would vote for, or even recognise, today’s Labour Party as the one she voted for.

I went to the phenomenal Kimono exhibition at the V&A Dundee last week, and I keep coming back to this bit of interpretation. TERFs would have you believe that trans people are a “fad”, but they’ve always been here. They may not always be wearing skeleton kimonos, but they’re not going anywhere. 🏳️‍⚧️

Love owning a cat. It’s great. Just a wee beast that lives in your house, screams at you occasionally, follows you everywhere, and forcibly joins you in the bathroom just stare at you in abject horror while you’re showering. Fantastic. 5 stars.
