There is a service provided by banks that informs auto pay creditors of your NEW credit card or Debit Card Info. It makes it extra hard to cancel subscriptions & automatic payments. It took me months & months to stop Uber Eats from fraudulent billing attempts by Uber Eats.😡

It NEEDS to be open. Our bio family’s information needs to be available to us. Our bio family’s medical history needs to be available to us. Docs should be translated into the Language of the country kid is getting shipped off to. They removed my bio mom’s family name😡😡

I just use my teaspoon & drop it in. As it fries it turns into that traditional ball shape. It can crack while cooking. But we are used to that & they are just as tasty!!

It is primarily Flour, sugar, baking powder, usually milk or heavy cream. Please use a recipe from a Japanese, Okinawan, or Hawaiian cook. So you end up with a Sata Andagi that my ethnicity eats & enjoys.

Okinawa Dango are really tasty fun snacks. Every Japanese Buddhist temple sells them during their Obon Festivals. They are dense donuts❤️❤️👍

oh yeah. HONGWANJI in a Japanese Buddhist temple's name. that the hint it's a Jodo Shinshu Buddhist sect. 👍 My Dad's temple he was a member of is one of the main temples' for this sec in southern California: Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi Betsuin) I know it as Nishi Hongwanji

Halve this recipe!! Or else you will need to give some of the Dango away QUICKLY! (the recipe didn't give any yield amount.) This is a dense Japanese ball shaped donut, a bit sweet, outside is crunchy. If you go to a Buddhist Obon festival get these Okinawan Dango! YUMMMMM! ❤️❤️

Let it fry for about 8-9 minutes or until it is golden brown and cooked in the inside. Check if the inside of the Andagi has been cooked by skewering it and it comes out clean. Set the cooked Andagi on a wire rack or plate lined with paper towels. Andagi NEEDS to be eaten within a few days!!

Cut it off by closing the thumb and index finger together. Or you can use your opposite finger to cut it off and drop into the oil. OR do it easy way by scooping a small portion of the Dough with your small teaspoon (not soup spoon!) and carefully drop the Andagi into the oil.

Heat your skillet with enough oil to deep fry the Andagi – cast iron with high sides works great!  To form the Andagi: Dip one hand into the bowl of water w/ a bit of oil in it. Grab a handful of the dough, squeeze it in your palm to form a ping pong from between the thumb and index finger.

Gently fold the ingredients to combine until all of the wet ingredients are used. The dough will become like sticky Play-Doh. (I use my KitchenAid Mixer, low speed, the one you raise the bowl ‘cuz I’m lazy & that sucker mixes quickly!)

  Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, and Salt. Set aside. Combine the wet ingredients in a separate medium sized bowl:  Evaporated Milk, Water, Vanilla Extract, Oil, and Eggs. In the dry ingredient bowl, form a well in the middle. Pour a little of wet ingredients into the well.

Sata Andagi – Okinawan Dango Moililili Hongwanji Temple (Hawaii) Ingredients: 4 cups Flour 2 cups Sugar 4 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/3 cup Evaporated Milk /3 cup Water 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 2 Tablespoon Veggie Oil (I use Sunflower Oil, nothing is bromated in that)

FOUND it!! I'll just keep posting in sections until I get all of it in here, okay? I'm Jodo Shinshu Buddhist. This is a typical recipe we use to make the Sata Andagi / Okinawan Dango for Obon Festival. This is how a lot of Hawaiians make Sata Andagi the rest of Hawaii calls these Malasada?
