One thing for me that sucks when animating lip sync is that I can't listen to something else while drawing. I have to listen to the voice track, over and over, and over again.

Oh, I remember that happening to me back in college. I was drinking so much coffee that it barely woke me up in the morning, and I needed to drink coffee before bed to get settled otherwise I felt wired.

You really need to tell yourself "I'm going to suck at this for a while". You can't be REALLY good at a new medium instantly. It takes a while. Do 100 LITTLE paintings. No more than an hour each. That's my best advice. Also, I have videos on both watercolors and gouache on my Youtube Channel.

Oh wow! that would be fun to get audio of the ambience and creaking noises, and have creepy video footage for an ambient video for youtube, but I'd only do that if I had 8 large, heavily armed bodyguards with me.

8 years ago today Philando Castile was murdered. The criminal legal system failed to convict the cop who shot him despite the recorded evidence. We had to watch that video live just 24 hours after we watched cops shoot Alton Sterling in the back. (The video does not play at link)

When I had to contact a few voice actors with the same short bit of info, I was also a freak and did the copy paste, and I was such a worrywart that I checked and rechecked multiple times that I didn't send anyone info with the wrong name. >_<

Honestly Ron Pearlman as Hellboy felt more like he was continuing his character Zeno from The Ice Pirates and not actually playing Hellboy from the comic.

That new Hellboy movie looks pretty cool to me. Actually going in a horror direction, you know, like the comic. Also, Hellboy looks more like he does in the comic.
