This isn't to say TVs haven't gotten worse in other ways (smart crap), but a modern high end TV watching 4K HDR content looks absolutely stunning compared to a 2014 TV watching 1080p (since UHD Blu-ray wasn't out yet) SDR content

Honestly? Display panel technology is something that has actually genuinely had major strides in the last decade. We went from edge lit LCDs being the standard to OLED and Mini-LED panels dominating the high end, with absolutely beautiful colors and contrast

They don't charge twice as much as PG&E! (Northern California utility) With PG&E, you pay northeast rates and get Texas reliability! Texas reliability is bad enough at 10¢/kWh, PG&E has the gall to charge 50-60¢/kWh

The brand name will still probably cost quite a bit more than the generic. Brand names are usually significantly less preferred in formularies, making them fall in more expensive pricing tiers. If you're unlucky, it could even end up being coinsurance rather than a copay
