Ya, I gave up on the MCU eventually too. There's comes a point when there's only so much story to tell. I really wish they would have gone on hiatus for a few years after Infinity War. They became a victim of their own success.

I'm not as conflicted as I used to be. I've generally enjoyed how they've been treating Star Wars and this first season of Who. Although, if they made Trek do eight-episode seasons with live-action episodes as short as 28-minutes, I'd probably go apeshit.

I highly recommend a listen to the Broadway musical "1776" on this July 4. If you're not aware of classic musicals, it's a great companion piece to "Hamilton." Plus, Brent Spiner plays the lead in this 1997 revival!🇺🇲

The Hagemans and @goodaaron.bsky.social have said that a 3rd season or a movie is really dependent on people watching the hell out of Season 2 in the first week and the first 30 days. So, we all need to do our duty! Our First Duty is to ensure that Prodigy gets a 3rd season or a movie!

I think it's probably a matter of art in this case. Disco, LD and Prodigy were clearly cancelled without any notice to the creatives. In Picard's case, they already knew before Season 2 was shot that there would only be 3 seasons, regardless of what was originally planned.
