Extremely highly regarded by a small but hardy group of P&P superfans. Possibly the duo's most underrated picture. (And THE SMALL BACK ROOM is one of the best movie titles ever. If you said HOUR OF GLORY to someone you'd get nowhere.)

I really love QatP; and I'm not the sort of cinephile who binges every Vinegar Syndrome sale and whose favorite film is something called ROADKILL 2: BIKER BLOOD CULT. I thought it really walked a kind of tightrope and cut loose at well-judged moments.

no screen grabs but Stuart Gordon's FROM BEYOND is one of the best examples of "seeing a job all the way through" in the horror genre; climaxing with two cerebral glands battling to the death in a lake of goo. it's not generally my bag but somehow I like it a lot.

someone in the know told me that if your display is 65" or less, you won't be able to differentiate Blu-ray from 4K. now, I don't have the best eyesight but I found this to be untrue. all this is to say, if you find you have the means, this disc may well make you a believer. it's got it.

agreed - it's doubly frustrating that you and me and everyone we know are excluded from any entity that could conceivably affect the outcome (let alone the strategy) but also that those left out of the process will bear the greatest consequences.

The idea that Northern Ireland “belongs” to the UK is so insane especially if you look at a map. IT’S ON IRELAND THE ISLAND. Scotland makes more sense although I hope they chuck out the English too.
