My thing was Star Wars, and barring some questionable caricatures in the prequels, as far as I know Lucas as only ever been revealed to be a huge fuckin nerd. It would've been pretty awful if he came out even a fraction as awful as Rowling as. Feel bad for folks who had Potter as their Star Wars.
