My god I'm exhausted by all this hand-wringing. If you're worried, get out and do something. Just like in 2016, 2018 and 2020 (I took 2022 easy because I was pregnant) I will be doing everything I can to make sure that Trump/republicans are defeated so I can say I left everything on the field.

He is very shrewd and I think he wanted people to believe that. But as I said at the time, having a one-term president and then a primary was also a bad idea, because it would destroy the incumbent advantage. The time to do something about it was in 2020, and now it is too late so time to rally.

I looked over the actual report and yeah, this is very concerning. There is no safe exposure level to lead. The authors note it's not known how much gets absorbed into the body via tampon use because that research has never been done. It's maddening how research on women's health is lacking.

It’s maddening to see skepticism of ejecting Biden treated like cultish loyalty. Some of us have been out here saying Biden’s too old for years. The problem is that what is being proposed is a shocking, almost unheard-of remedy, and every historic precedent tells us it’ll end in catastrophe.

I am generally pretty understanding of the health care system because both my parents are MDs. But making me waste time and delay a prescription by a 1.5 weeks for an appointment that could be a 30 second phone call or email is not defensible.

In minor political gripes, in 2022 a friend ran for state assembly in my district against an establishment dem. I promoted him and canvassed for him, even at 6 mo. pregnant. He had a very uphill battle and lost, and the guy that won sucks and all my friends regret voting for him. I told you so...

This is a rant I have had for a while, but the first First Lady with a postgraduate degree, Watergate lawyer, children’s rights activist, US Senator and Secretary of State was not a weak fucking candidate. She was more progressive than Biden in every conceivable way. She got fucked over.

I went to a summer program in high school where we spent the summer observing asteroids and determining their orbital elements. It was right before CCDs were cheap so we used actual film and the telescope didn't track so we had to guide by hand. It was the best.
