I have to admit curiosity over which strains of each they used.

Doesn't make a huge difference to me but would save a syringe since I've gotten in the habit of getting both in the early fall.

I'm over 70, and I'd rather get two shots a week or so apart. Each one is a challenge to the immune system, and sometimes a new flu shot will have side-effects. The first covid vax knocked me flat for a day or two, and who needs that?

I'm still hoping that we get the nasal mucosal vaccines or pan covid vaccine by fall. www.pbsnc.org/blogs/scienc...

I'm not going nuts here but when I went to get my jab last year for my covid booster up here in Canada, they already had a combined flu/covid. I had the option to get just the covid booster or the combined one. I chose the combined and it was all in one syringe.

“Non-inferior” sounds like an awfully low bar—even damning by faint praise—until we look at the many, albeit modest downsides of each shot: finding when they’re available, queuing, needle anxiety, soreness/reax. And clinics’ logistics of one SKU vs two. This looks like a solid win🏆for public health
