Rogue Legacy 2 is maybe not your type of game but I really appreciate that they have a whole "House Rules" menu where you can make the game as easy or as hard as you want with no judgement or penalty, it's really just like "here, go crazy." There's even an achievement for enabling it

Learned about this and so much more from from a TMBG Radio flash app they had on their website back it the aughts. Got so many golden obscurities thrown at me between that and the podcast. Still wowed by just how much they've put out over the years even beyond the album releases

I just can't get over how this all started with "heaven is letting demons in now" which once upon a time would have rocked the foundation of the strip's most basic conceit to its core, but no, let's unceremoniously abandon that in favor of an extended LOTR "Jews are Orcs" diatribe
