When companies didn't want accented phone people, there used to be a lot of call centers in Saskatchewan. We have the "least accented" English apparently (white/middle of the continent).

Fun/weird fact: the word “defile” in English comes from defouler, Old French for “to trample on.” The word وطئ, in Arabic, likewise means both to trample and to f*ck. (I therefore translate it as defile in Classical stuff, context depending). … What is with humans and going to “pound-town?”
