i am extremely unconvinced that trump won this debate (or even that biden lost it) amongst the voters that trump absolutely has to get in order to win and i think there’s a whole lot of unconscious bias at play with people who do (DEI training works!)

I really don't think any of the polling is correct about anything. That doesn't mean I think that Biden's going to win, but I think the signalling mechanisms a lot of these campaign professionals have built decade-spanning careers around are totally busted and nobody understands anything anymore

It is absolutely true that as bad as Joe was, Trump was also awful. He presented as a full on psycho crazy person. Bombastic, delusional, disconnected from reality. It wasn’t a subtle thing. Even with joes awful performance, you’d have to be nuts to prefer Trump. Mind you. I’m still not happy.
