All i've ever really wanted in a game is the ability to be a variety of giant b-movie monsters and wreck a city. i continue to be denied this specific scenario, but THEY CAME FROM HOLLYWOOD (now long cancelled), would have been the ideal version of this for me.

there was a game where you played a zombie and could make more and eventually grow your horde, but it was pretty cartoony. i'd like to see someone revisit this idea

I do have fond memories of I Was An Atomic Mutant! from 2003. No idea how difficult it is to get running on modern hardware, though.
