i think making the monsters in A QUIET PLACE supernatural rather than aliens would have been both a way more interesting apocalyptic scenario + would have solved a lot of logistical problems. could have given them a better design while they were at it.

All i've ever really wanted in a game is the ability to be a variety of giant b-movie monsters and wreck a city. i continue to be denied this specific scenario, but THEY CAME FROM HOLLYWOOD (now long cancelled), would have been the ideal version of this for me.

Really loving this collection, WYRD AND OTHER DERELICTIONS by Adam Nevill. The premise is that each story is completely free of character and plot. Instead, a narrator walks the reader through empty scenes where something terrible happened, allowing them to piece together the mystery themselves.
