Yeah. I read this, and just felt tired. You'd think that someone would actually manage not to be a creep, but no, fame+middle age apparently always manages to somehow "compel" people to become abusive predators.

Also it seems to me that the guys who get a rep for being "quirky" and "different" and who become cult favorites end up getting too high on their own reputations and come to believe they can do no wrong. (See also, Kevin Spacey.)

God damn trump all the more for saying it but the "when you're famous they let you" is something people who aren't 'total' fucking sociopaths sometimes take (unreasonably) as a substitute for consent. (Absolute monster sociopaths revel in the fact that it isn't consent)
