do not skip your annual checkup! I didn't know til recently when labs came back low. been trying to avoid salt bc fam history of cardiovascular crap, but failing bc my body was telling me what it needed and (luckily) my ADHD meds weren't giving me the ability to push past the salty snacks impulse

thanks! may pass it to the friend who inspired me to look. they currently use something with even more sodium (and other minerals) but they sweat a lot on purpose. I recently learned (via annual labs) SSRIs can leach sodium, so there's my ongoing chips and popcorn cravings explained

they are working on the assumption that those things are all perfect as they are. "more perfect union" suggests that the starting point was good but we can improve. and then improve again, and again. it will never be completely, unshakeably perfect but it can always be made *more* perfect

Noticed this at big chain stores the last couple times I was in NYC. Both times, in different parts of the city, I just walked a few blocks to a non-chain drugstore where nothing was locked down. Either the indie stores are taking massive losses, or this isn’t really about theft.
