Anyone interested in a Shadows of Cathedral Lane AMA podcast? I know a few people are reading it at the moment, so just let me know if you have any questions I could answer!

Decided to ease myself back into writing with a fun little fanfic project. A dream franchise to write for that could just be fun to put up as like a little free sample for people curious about my style, and also hopefully fun for fans of myself and the franchise itself! 🤞🏻
🤣 yeah, I think that's part of why I completely skip melee builds in Fallout. The amount of NPCs who decided to get close when I'm using the power fist was ridiculous! (Or my dear Moira's molerat repellent stick in 3!)
I'm playing Red Dead Redemption for the first time and whilst I was clearing out an enemy stronghold, my horse charged across out of nowhere and dove Infront of me as I fired at an enemy.
...so yes, I feel your frustrations with NPCs 🤣
As of today, I have donated the royalties earned from June (and a couple of extra contributions people offered) to support the Samaritans. Thank you to everyone who purchased / even retweeted through June!
I've come to describe what I write as "hopeful horror" for pretty much exactly this. There are scary themes and situations but there's a real light waiting at the end of that tunnel for anyone who can just make it there.
RED now has 36 ratings on Goodreads and 19 on Amazon! Thank you to all who have checked out my latest story, especially those who have left a review and a few stars. Here is a link for those wishing to check it out👇 daniellornhorror.co.uk/gallery
My name is Derek Moreland. I've written the Shmonster the Monster children's series, the comic mini Space is Awful, and a couple of novels.
My proudest horror work is a short piece called "Good Bones", where an STD brings human skeletons to life inside people. It was inspired by a silly meme.
So, this last week I walked away from a car accident. In terms of what happened, I feel very lucky for the outcome. But it has left me a little shaken (and preoccupied with all the insurance delights). So I'm not officially putting writing on pause, but there just might be less of it for a while!
Hey hey! I’m Michael, I write queer horror and sci fi. My proudest horror work, in terms of published stuff, is The Withrow Chronicles. It’s a series, not a book, but I think I nailed the finish. It’s about a curmudgeonly gay vampire, his dog, and his murder-twink cousin.
Hello, I'm Dawn! I write a lot of things but mostly short/flash fiction and poetry. Some of my best posts on Blue Sky have been horror flash fiction, and I'm incredibly proud of the one I wrote on sleep paralysis. I think it went particularly well :3 #HorrorWritersChat
The werewolf story anthology that includes my short story “Good Bones” (and so many others) will be out soon! “Howling for You” will raise money for the Wolf Conservation Center in New York.
Hey, scary word nerds! I'm Vivian Moira Valentine - horror writer, glamour ghoul, local weirdo - and I write queer horror with a focus on trans characters
I can't wait for you all to read The Haunting of Pine Hills; it's brutal and creepy and atmospheric and just great, I think
As I said, "Rose" is currently on sale from multiple retailers in honor of its five-year release anniversary. The story follows a young woman turned into a plant/human hybrid. If that interests you, head to your favorite retailer today! #horror#reading#fantasyhorror
The Amelia Temple Series: Gay Nancy Drew meets The X-Files with a touch of Cthulhu!
Beneath Strange Lights and Against Fearful Lies are available wherever books are sold; Book Three releases March 2025
These stories seem to be making more friends out there, than my others. PACT came from nowhere, & I didnt even expect it to get even one read! RED has a love/hate vibe going on, but it is my personal favourite of my current work. Both are on KU, & here is a link: daniellornhorror.co.uk/gallery
My third book hits shelves next week!! THE ONES WHO COME BACK HUNGRY mishmashes New England vampire folklore, grief, and toxic relationships to create ~*ahem*~ "both a sense of claustrophobia and endless, unknowable terror" 💀 Buy links at www.metuiteme.com! #horrorwriterschat
I always miss the start. I'm Shannon a former professional loud mouth and internet yeller and currently I'm an indie writer. Horror, spec fic, urban fantasy, poet- If I have to have a genre title call me a Fabulist with dark tastes. My proudest horror work-I'm not sure. #HorrorWritersChat
#HorrorWritersChat question 1: Hello. I'm John Reppion and, when I'm not writing comics or articles, I sometimes write Horror/Weird Fiction. My proudest Horror work might be WOLF which I wrote for Library of the Occult Records, read by Matthew Holness libraryoftheoccult.bandcamp.com/album/wolf-t...
Who am I? Not the Diane Johnson that people are most familiar with. She wrote the script for The Shining. But I do write horror. Maybe seeing my (her) name on a movie poster when I was too young to see the movie inspired me.
#HorrorWritersChat I'm Matt, a backend engineer in games for now but have two projects in the works, both centered around broken people wrestling with identity, purpose, and cosmic horrors. I'm proud of how far along my first work has gotten. Alpha readers are positive, just hope lit agents are too.
Hi there #horrorwriterschat, I'm Costa Koutsoutis, I write SFF and crime and horror stuff, I'm probably most proud of the weird dark fantasy stories I've written like "A Dream of Orkney", & the eldritch story "Labyrinth," which was performed on the horror fiction podcast The Alexandria Archvies.
Introduce yourself: Tell us who you are, what you write, and tell us about your proudest horror work.
I'm Ryan C. Bradley, writer, musician. New England transplant to Texas. I love all my work, but Say Uncle coming out next spring from Ghoulish Books is my best
Hi, #HorrorWritersChat ! I’m Mattie and I write dark fantasy and horror, often but not always layered over romance and/or erotica. I’m most proud of my novelette, “Honey, Blood, and Hellfire,” which my friend @jackguignol.bsky.social once described as “like Hawthorne allowed to be horny on main”
