Spring 2022 allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual abuse against Tim Day from when he had been employed at the Meeting House between 2001 and 2015 “The victim’s allegations against Tim Day were substantiated as sexual abuse by a church leader.” Day is not facing any criminal charges.

In 2021 Toronto police charged Naidoo with a sexual exploitation that occurred between 2002 and 2005 against a young girl at Spring Garden Baptist Church in Toronto where he worked before Meeting place Despite Kieran Naidoo pleading guilty Ontario prosecutors stayed the charge and he walked free
