They did already specify it must be the Paramount/Eagles Org. version that was put together to promote the movie. There are multiple variations across different faiths, but leave it to our most backwards state to look to Hollywood for religious standards.

Unfortunately, Louisiana apparently mandates a specific text loosely based on the King James version, composed by a chapter of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles and popularized by a marketing campaign for the Cecil B deMille movie.

My understanding is that Jesus - you know the guy that got crucified and which Christianity was built on? - yeah, he replaced all those commandements with 'Love Thy Neighbour as you would yourself' and a lot of people mistook that and build gated communities.

Especially fun because Louisiana is one of the US states that does not have English as its official language, so this is extra great! Also fun: the US doesn't even recognize English as its own official language and leaves it up to individual states what they want their own official language to be.

I’m also personally saying that my read of this atrocious law does NOT prohibit posting the Ten Commandments such that the words are shaped like genitalia. Since, you know, these perverts are obsessed with genitalia anyway.
