Also the story is that the actors could see and hear that lots of the audience were watching the match on their phones. It's half that the actors wanted to watch it, but also half that if they'd started on time then for the first ten minutes loads of people would have been checking their phones.

It's that time on election morning when you can get weirdly obsessed with the undeclared seats that have gone to recounts. Hendon's supposedly supposedly down to ten votes; Poole might be either four votes or six votes, it's unclear. Hence the recount, I suppose.
