I'm so baffled by this. The "city vs suburbs" trope is common across the country, but NYC is somewhat unique that the suburbs are overwhelmingly not in the same state as the big city. The governor favoring CT and NJ suburban commuters who cannot reward her with a vote over NYC residents is wild.
