Maybe they should consider all the pregnant people who are literally bleeding out across this country and show up to vote for THEM. Those of us who are able to get pregnant have more at stake in this election and are adult enough to hold our noses and vote in order to save a whole lot of lives. FFS

I often give this as a gift to young people. (My 87 year-old mother bought one for every member of the family the year it came out.) If I had unlimited funds, I’d buy copies by the thousands and hand them out to strangers on the street.

This kind of slithering journalistic take sure has helped us on our swerve away from democracy. People won’t know what they are losing if you don’t tell them outright. Wasn’t that supposed to be your job? SCOTUS pretty much just made THE U.S. a monarchy. Maybe that be the headline?

It's dangerous framing and it's particularly destructive to those who suffer from mental health issues or advocate for their care. These men are acting like the entitled bullies they have always been. Perhaps this person is only now paying attention. It's well past time.

In the Spring of 1864 Twain, while working as a beat reporter for the SF Morning Call, Twain witnessed the murder of a Chinese laborer by a mob that included cops. It radicalized him. He wrote it up, one of the first things he ever authored which he thought deserved to be called “literature”… 2/
