I think part of it too is that Cozy is a really indistinct aesthetic in games. At best, it's a catch-all for "non-confrontational," maybe "nurturing" at most, with "easy" gameplay. Is Spiritfarer a cozy game? Because it is cute and it emphasizes nurturing, but it has some fucking gut punches.

They were carbon-neutral in the sense that they bought carbon offsets matching the amount of non-CF energy burned. The amount of total energy burned has gone up considerably since, even if offsets go up by an equal amount. They do try to buy CF energy where available, but it’s still a waste.
