Orchids entice their #pollinators in various, and sometimes devious, ways.
This Common Bunny Orchid (Eriochilus dilatatus subsp. multiflorus) uses a more ‘traditional’ approach and offers nectar to its native bee pollinators #orchids #biodiversity #ozplants #ozflora #wildoz 🌿

I love thinking back to this very special time when I was out on a dirt road by myself near Bruce - and this happened. It was a thrill when the budgies strafed me as I stood watching. Hundreds of little wing beats over my head 💚💛💚💛

As I was camping in a dark sky area, I had to at least try to get 12P/Pons-Brooks.
Friday night was beautiful & clear. The Gluepot Reserve rangers were pretty interested in what I was doing so came out to have a look.
So here's my grainy capture. The bright star beside the comet is 29 Tauri.
