And my wife got diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb. They think only DCIS (won’t know til final pathology), but double mastectomy is scheduled for 3 weeks from now. So, challenging. You? How are your parents holding up? I haven’t been on BSky for a minute.

Eh, challenging. Mom fell and had hip replaced in Jan and hasn’t gotten strength back so is mostly in wheelchair. I’ve been back home twice since then. We’re starting to look at assisted living, bc Dad has Parkinson’s and it’s tough on him being her caregiver. Neither my sister nor I can move back.

Rad. Sounds like a good time. I’m a fiftysomething white cishet dude and have become an unapologetic Swiftie in the past few years. My 16yo lesbian kid loved 1989 in her formative years but has much more refined tastes now. We still really bond over Taylor.
