This sounds like Apple is getting ready to buy either Paramount or Warner Bros and keeping their politics clean for regulators and Hollywood. Also, when do people realize that over the top greed creeps like Altman, Musk, Trump, Putin inevitably make terrible dealmakers when they’re in charge?
Meanwhile my city is falling all over itself to give Elmo big chunks of our affordable electricity and clean aquifer water for his xAI "gigafactory" - and as this happens, it's really super-critical that we know... where did he eat his French toast?😩

Most other companies are treating AI as a mill into which they insert cash & customer data, and hope more cash magically comes out the other side than they put in.
I was initially worried Apple would huff the same AI glue, but their approach is much more reasoned, while respecting user privacy…
