I mostly agree... I have demand for (a different kind of) AI to help us think through extremely complex problems like climate damage, foreign affairs, etc... but all this generative 'AI' crap is misapplied in the extreme. An economy wrecker on top of the economy wrecking going on already

Only corporations are demanding it. We don’t want it. I think for the sake of record profits they want us to fund it so it can ultimately replace our jobs. AI won’t be able to think until we build up quantum computing and this technology doesn’t exist yet.
