I've always thought that any increased cost due to new technology not having enough scale, will eventually get paid back in dividends from reduced healthcare demand.
I am curious how they accounted for the wildfire smoke. From my perspective in Denver, those years had the worst air pollution in my lifetime and were seriously damaging to my health. Did they exclude areas with smoke? The article doesn’t mention the smoke at all.
