Both the decision and the board report use the vague term "deposited," so it's unclear. But the opinion also gives us this: after "deposit[ing] his feces into an empty Pringles can," "He then drove approximately 20 minutes from his home in Coal Ridge to Cambridge with the open can of feces."

If I had to do it, I would definitely do the latter. A whole lot less gross than having to shovel the thing with my hands (covered or not, it's still disgusting).
