I donated and bought things from the NCT bring and buy sales when my kids were little as stuff was always expensive. But now that the Tories have forced parents to shoplift baby formula and nappies… They have never known hunger yet take delight in pushing it on others.

Just settling in to cut up the 2(!) deform flyers that popped through our door, so I can put each tiny piece into its own, unstamped envelope to send them back (🤣) to headquarters, so that Reform ltd have to pay carriage charges. Would encourage everyone to do the same.

Went out for G&Ts with 4 other mums last night. We all agreed that Nativity plays/sports days were the banes of primary school. None of our boys were ever picked for lead, or even secondary roles (same kids every year, for every performance), and none were competitive. I don’t miss those days! 😆

Yes I agree. But the far right and the media in general have “Pied Pipered” the young into absurd beliefs, or apathy, or the belief that as an individual, they don’t matter, so perhaps the only way to counter this is to use the same tools? 😥

As the Tories have actively tried to stop the young from easily voting, I find it terribly sad that some of them (especially the ones historically disenfranchised) have chosen to not vote. As more than one said they weren’t because “no-one they know” wasn’t, perhaps we need influencers to help?
