My most controversial take is I bought one of those super fancy Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners and they are truly life-changing, best and easiest vacuum ever, I enjoy cleaning now, what has happened to me they cost a ton of money tho :/ but if you have the cash it’s so so worth it

We got one as a gift! I’m physically disabled and used to avoid vacuuming at all costs. Now I vacuum for fun?! Our house is perfectly small, I can do the whole thing in less than 10 minutes. ❤️

I shouldn’t be spending money so can I finish a new portrait of my wife in time for her birthday? And make her a birthday card? And bake her a cake? Can I top last year’s incredible chocolate caramel banana s’mores cake? How long will the high from getting a good solid 6 hours of sleep last?

I’m watching her closely. I turned off the AC unit in the bedroom she’d been hiding in, put her food and water bowls in there, and she almost immediately came out to have some kibble. So I’m still hoping it’s just stress and noise aversion.

Yeah. As long as she's still eating at least a few bites I'm feeling inclined to wait. Besides the fireworks and vet, we've also been a heat wave and the noise from the window AC unit also scares her. Poor cat.

We got her back on the 1st, she threw up a substantial hairball on the 3rd and hasn't been eating anywhere near her normal amount since then. But she also hasn't thrown up again and she's going back to the vet for boarding on the 12th in any case.

Me too. She's a super high anxiety cat so if it is just stress I'm worried taking her to the vet will just compound the problem...plus she's going back there in a week for boarding again. 🫠

My cat hasn’t been eating normally the past few days, and I don’t know if it’s just the result of stress from being boarded at the vet immediately followed by stress from fireworks explosions or if there’s actually something wrong.
