We had a customer who came to us specifically because they didn’t want dirty immigrants (language to that effect) to work on his truck. Said that to our BiPoc/Hispanic sales associates who, in turn, ignored them, and closed the transaction professionally.

Had a client today who told my staff they didn’t want ‘filthy immigrants’ touching their truck. First time ever someone was so openly racist. I expect this kind of encounter will become more of the norm even around these parts - NoVa.

#OH6 a +29 Trump district had a waiter come within 9 of the Republican last night. Caveats aside - special election etc - this doesn’t seem like their base is fired up. What is knowable about the outcome is that the election will be call ‘rigged’ if Trump doesn’t win.

Trump should obviously be treated as an incumbent given that an overwhelming majority of GOP primary voters think he won in 2020. Getting a little over 50% in the first two states is a very weak showing for an incumbent.
