I think the erasure of Jewish Americans from the anti-genocide movement is one of the things that disturbs me most about the press coverage. Every protest I've seen, Jews have been visibly and vocally involved; but that doesn't fit the preferred narrative.

I have to say, as a Jewish American, that I don’t need any police to protect me against some 18 year old peaceful protestor whether I agree with his/her views or not. What I DO need protection from is a cynical party whose core strategy is appealing to Nazis even as they pretend to be my friend.
