my cemetery gets lots of birds and thus lots of birders and they are generally fine except for sometimes when they get angry at us for trying to occasionally trying to do actual cemetery things (such as burials) when there is A Bird nearby they want to stare at

Reminds me of that time when there were serious lockdowns around Germany/Europe and people were looking to replace the park as a third space and everybody German was like 'just go to the cemetery' and I was just very confused.

i went to check on a family's grave site and was trying to drive back to the office and there were 15 people just standing in the middle of the road looking at a bird and they all looked at me like they couldn't believe my audacity trying to drive past them and their important bird

Our big cemetery here has an amazing scenic spot that was known mostly to local birders who were upset when the cemetery created a path through the area so more people could experience it. The cemetery has the only waterfall in the City of Buffalo, also largely hidden from view.
