People often donāt realize the enormous influence they have just by living. We mostly learn how to behave watching others. If you live with integrity and speak up when it matters, youāll give some of that strength to the people watching you. Thereās a lot of power in an example.

Iām glad the first brood are fledging bc on Tuesday the pest controller comes and they HAVE to be removed* bc theyāve caused a secondary infestation of bird mites in my flat š¬š¬š¬ Iād prefer to live alongside them, but I cannot have them shedding inured into my home.

There are pigeons nesting in my kitchen ceiling, which is causing problems, but this evening I watched one of the chicks fledge & it really is beautiful. Pic doesnāt do it justice, but each feather is scalloped shades of grey & it has pink iridescence round its neck. It flew off shortly after photo.

Urgh. This person doesnāt deserve a cat. When I was looking for Trapper, I deliberately sought out a black kitten bc I know theyāre often less wanted. Heās the most loyal and affectionate cat Iāve had in a long time. Here he is not long after I got him and nearly 2 years on!
