Having read the book a couple of years back I wasn't sure how well The Idea of You (slight spoiler ahead) would translate to the screen but I enjoyed it. And appreciated the ending being a bit different. Kind of surprised the audience score isn't as high as the critics' on Rotten Tomatoes.

This is your reminder that tagging a writer in a bad review of their book is just plain mean. Yes, you have a right to review the book wherever and however you like, always. But if that author is just going about their day, not looking for reviews, and they're forced to see it? Cruel.

I definitely can and do. I wonder is there any correlation between picturing things in your head and having an inner monologue - which I assumed everyone had until a year or so ago when I learned only about half of people do.

Lovely day in Watertown NY. Fabulous architecture downtown and they have the most beautiful library I've ever seen. If you're visiting I highly recommend Starch Cafe at 320 State Street. They have outdoor seating this time of year too. starchcafe.com

Sydney Sweeney was very good in Immaculate and I also hope she'll help bring more horror films to the big screen.

I saw 2 scary movies revolving around young nuns in two weeks and enjoyed them both. The First Omen genuinely scared me. It had the confidence & gravitas of the 1976 film but with a strong young woman at its centre. I hope there'll be more; I'd love to see where they go with the antichrist concept.

Have seen this done several times already but plugging existing long covid data (below chart is from Moderna's website on March 15th) into ChatGPT and asking it to estimate the chance of suffering from long covid after a 4th and 5th infection is . . . not good.

Ottawa's Parliament Hill updated for the year 2075, according to AI. Dang - looks like we scrap most of the green space in front of Parliament and widen Wellington Street to allow for more lanes of traffic.
