Sorry to all my lawyer friends who spent a bunch of time learning how law works in the US. I had friends who were Flash developers and things turned out alright for them after they pivoted to C# or whatever. Hopefully there's an equivalent for our national legal system

My spouse was a lifeguard for years and me kid is a lifeguard this summer and that’s the advice he gives him. Watch everyone carefully so you don’t have to rescue. Either he’s the worst lifeguard ever. Or that’s the lie.

This works until you have an actual illness that requires fielding doctor’s calls at any moment. Or a school field trip or camp or kid’s friend that may call from an unknown number. Or parents who are aging who have new friends helping them. In other words, stop making this my problem and burden!
