RETVRN to traditional masculinity when Real Men would tote around their babby kitties in case they needed kisses on their fuzzy little heads. Photo from my collection, no date/info.
Yeah anyone who says men can't have cats are missing the symbolism. A man who can take care of a cat:
- had enough patience and understanding to earn their love
- understands the need for personal space
- can deal with the zoomies
- can deal with being randomly bitten
- is just cool
Was on a plane with this massive old dude in a window seat whose demeanor screamed military. After takeoff the biggest, fluffiest orange cat I've ever seen jumped up and settled in the aisle seat across from me. Old dude loudly & proudly proclaimed "Name's Patton". Patton was a very awesome cat.
Real men love pussy. I always had a cat and adore kittens. A cat is a deep relationship. A familiar. A psychic bond. Proper men love to play with a kitten or stroke a cat. Strong men need a cat to love.
A fella had to rescue this stray kitten from the shed she was born in.
Me and Bella got love.
Nowadays what people think of as traditional masculinity is just grown ups that have the same mindset as the middle schoolers who bullied me and called me gay for random nonsense
Ooh my husband and one of our cats have their own little ritual, where she gets into a box (always the same, always in the living room), and he picks up the box and tours around our place with her peeking out, so she can inspect the upper side of the closets and cabinets. Itβs so cute! π₯°
I once shared a vet's waiting room with a biker-he was wearing his leathers & looked generally scary. He pulled the fluffiest long haired white cat out of a carrier & told the tech that "Baby" was pregnant & he just wanted to make sure that she was healthy & he was doing all the right things for her
