In fairness, he's out on his ear shortly after the Election anyway. If God forbid! they win he'll be stabbed in the back before you can say "reshuffle" and so losing his seat saves the public the cost of a by election. Win win

Would be fantastic if it happens. But I grew up near Richmond & still have family in the area. It's so solidly Tory that if they put a pig in a suit & a blue rosette, it would get a lot of votes. If the pig did get elected it might it would raise the average IQ & level of integrity amongst Tory MPs

Reports from local Lib Dem that North East Hants has been flooded with Tory activists. If they’re scared of losing this seat, their data must be terrifying. Would be great if Sunak loses. Although better for me personally if Jayawardena does. (Would also accept: both losing.)

Some MRP polls have Labour coming close. I know people in his seat; there's never been any Lab presence there (no Cllrs unlike LibDems) and there isn't much of a Labour vote to find atm. I think this may be expectation management from Team Sunak "oh look he was in danger but triumphed in the end".
