The electoral problem has become, as the IRA gloated to Thatcher, that the GOP only needs to get lucky once and the Democrats need to be lucky forever. Either they’re going to do something about the court - now, not eventually - or we will simply play iterations of this game until the GOP wins.

Except that Kamala has been tested on the national stage and had to drop out before she was going to be humiliated by Bernie in the California primary. Her primary campaign in 2020 was a disaster.

That may be the case but to use a baseball reference do you want to keep the starting pitcher in there who is quite literally dead on his feet or bring in the reliever who might throw some heat or might walk in the run. Biden is a 100% loss right now.
