Sean Hollister isn't a copyright lawyer. Automated processing of copyrighted data is a fundamental aspect of how the internet works. Like 98% of Google's business model would be illegal if it wasn't fair use. Far less transformative uses of copyrighted data have been upheld (eg. v. Authors' Guild)
