Nice! I really envy the guy that makes them for Tod of Tod's Workshop. He's done so many of them that he cranks them out really fast and makes it looks so easy in the process. I assume they're like forging anything, do a thousand of them and they become mostly automatic! 😄

Amazing! 😆 But at least they cleaned up the knife laws to a degree several years back, thanks to the knife lobby as I recall. We get assisted openers now, for example. Not that I'm current on the laws, but I don't plan to be carrying any of my swords "concealed" anyway. 😅

We have a National Guard airfield not far from us so they are pretty common, and we can always tell them apart by sound from any other helos... Also I normally refer to them by their slang name, "sh*t hooks." 😄 They can do some pretty amazing things, including rescues!

Use caution if shipping, I think they are still a *felony* to sell or possess in CA, for reasons that I never understood... Unless you're trying the ol' "pendants" thing as I see the holes in them. I wouldn't want to have to defend that in court with a straight face though! 😄

It shows the ignorance of the CT buyers in general. I bet that most have never/will never do any offroading... It reminds me of the industry data that showed the lowest offroad use of any 4x4 was by the owners the Hummer H2, less than 2% used offroad even once. All big truck ego & bluster.

They look to be tow points, as opposed to actually recovery points like you might use to extract a stuck vehicle in an off-road setting with a winch or recovery "yanker" rope... Without proper recovery points that will take that strain, I'd be very hesitant to offroad a vehicle.
