i had this big plan to debut my cloud strife furry cosplay by sneakin around pax east 2020 and dropping my ff7 weed zine everywhere as my big feeling better from chemo comeback but lol, lmao lol

do you think if cons got like, big air purifiers going in every room (not like anthrocon sized cons but like smaller cons) you might be okay one-way masking? i'm just trying to think of things that could potentially be asked of cons that the gen public wont mind/notice but still could help.

i think the issue is most furries want to be welcoming but are very visual based and so unless someone is wearing the proverbial BE PATIENT I HAVE AUTISM hat or PLEASE MASK IM IMMUNECOMP they still struggle w behaving the way shitty society socilized em to behave, by going "stop ruining the party!"

i would care if you went away... part of what i liked about furry was that it (seemed) to welcome disabilties. tho theyre still very poor about invisible ones, clearly. maybe. we should do 1pg masking psas designed for conbooks? still Why Our Job but. its a thought, on this anthrocon friday

i will say that the n95s??? they are fuckin godsends. i have been to many large gatherings and as long as i am careful to keep masked i've so far matrix style dodged the bullet. genuinely you can put your faith in them... if YOU can wear one, which is the rub.

the way i got treated during pandemmy by a con /right/ after finishing my chemo/radiation shit (it takes a long time to heal!!!! im still on a very nasty drug daily!!) was a big wakeup call :T

im in mass so its relatively tame here since its "illegal"? but the whole world including next door n across the street did explode for abt a full half hour after 8.50pm when the neighboring towns started setting off their distant kabooms somethin to be said for legislation even if nh is next door

ive noticed that at cons the most frequently masked populations? vendors. cause we're the ones who can't afford to both miss it, or miss time being sick. art is struggling so hard since fuckin linking offsite and being queer became illegal on social media and it shows in our behavior .-.
