I remember seeing this in 1998 and thinking SNL ripped off The Nation, which had a big issue on media consolidation in 1996 that used octopi. Exactly like the video. Here’s a snippet from that June 3, 1996 issue. It looks very similar.

That's not hyperbole. The dissenters, Supreme Court justices, literally said that under this new precedent, a United States president can now murder his political opponent, and can't be prosecuted.

Here’s where we’re at: Supreme Court justices have interpreted current law and precedent to say explicitly and literally that a president can murder his political opponent and he can never be prosecuted for it.
