I go back to the point that his *entire* - IMHO completely misjudged - election strategy has been to chase the elderly voters he’s lost to Reform and instead of having a day of daytime tv footage - DAYTIME TV THAT PENSIONERS WATCH - of him being statesmanlike, he does this.

An edge-on disk galaxy, observed with the Apache Point 2.5m Telescope in the SDSS survey. It is at redshift 0.039 (lookback time 549.7 million years) with coordinates (240.59000, 16.15908). 52 volunteers classified this galaxy in Galaxy Zoo 2.

He is the nicest guy from Eritrea who's come through so much. RefugeesAtHome made it happen, and after we hosted him, the YMCA gave him stable accommodation for 18 months while he found his feet. The ceremony was moving, ending with "Our flag is now your flag". 2/3

a lovely afternoon break to attend the citizenship ceremony of the first refugee we hosted 6.5 years ago.
From being homeless after standard rapid refugee status eviction w barely any English to now having a good job as a licenced building site lift operator. #RefugeesAtHome 1/3

The day after the awful Rwanda bill passed, I get the perfect antidote. The 1st refugee we ever hosted 7 yrs ago just texted to invite me to his citizenship ceremony. At least he is here, and safe, having found community & steady work.
