With #HurricaneBeryl, 2024 is the 11th hurricane season in last 150 years in which a hurricane developed south of 20N, east of 80W prior to Aug 1.
The other 10 seasons went on to average twice or more the normal number of U.S./Florida hurricane and major hurricane landfalls.

I stutter. I’m also a pretty good extemporaneous speaker. I’ve been rattled to the point of panic when things start going off the rails. It is IMO likely that a big chunk of Biden’s debate struggles were downstream of a rocky start and attempts to recover through his mouth throwing 404s

I’m tentatively leaning toward Biden withdrawing, but I have a hesitation I haven’t seen much discussed. If he drops out, people are going to feel even more like the Democrats betrayed them by keeping his condition from them.
